The Wagga Gold Cup, at Murrumbidgee Turf Club, in Wagga Wagga (New South Wales, Australia) is considered one of the leading race carnivals in regional Australia. It is joined by more than 12,000 people for the big day, including Fashions on the Field, entertainment, luncheons, Golden View Marquee, two giant screens, jazz band, evening local bands and much more. Eight races were run in 2007, with the highlight being the A$110,000 Gold Cup Race.
